My dear friend and an amazing filmmaker Apoorva Satish, has been nudging me to shoot in film forever now! and to make that happen, she bought me my new (old) camera, Zenit ttl. With the help of Gowrishankar V & Susha I kickstarted and here are some image scans shot on two 35mm Fuji Superia film rolls.
After processing the first roll, we figured that the camera had light leak issues. However, we weren't sure if it was light leak or sticky shutter. So to be on the safer side, I did not go below 1/250 shutter for the second roll. The results from the second roll proved that it was indeed light leaks, but we couldn't help but be stunned by the accidental aesthetics it had added to the images. So, every time I shoot with this camera, its going to be equal parts of my imagination + the subject's beauty + the camera's own magic.
